Learn to Row

No Experience Necessary
Penn AC recognizes that many people in Philadelphia and the surrounding communities travel past Boathouse Row and the Schuylkill River regularily, see people in rowing shells on the river and think to themselves, “I would love to try that.”
Penn AC’s Learn-to-Row ("LTR") classes are open to the public, and help to open doors to rowing on Boathouse Row. This introductory program is designed for those who have not rowed and who want to give it a try for the first time.
Club membership is not required for program registration and participation.
Participants must be at least 21 years of age.
Applications close the day prior to the start of each class in each session.
The membership committee reviews applications on a monthly basis.
Please allow for 30 days for your application to be processed.
