In 2010 Penn AC will host its second annual Women's Summer Under 23 Senior and Lightweight Development Programs. These programs provide a setting in which female athletes can develop the technical and physiological skills to improve as a rower at the university and elite levels. Those invited will train alongside top athletes from colleges and universities throughout the United States, fostering a competitive environment and encouraging individuals to perform. Strong emphasis will be placed on fine tuning boat–moving mechanics, fundamental strength and endurance, small boat exposure (both sculling and sweep), and, of course, having some fun along the way.
