PENN AC 2008 U23 Camp

Program Information

Size of Program: There will be a cap of 8 - 10 rowers, boats will be based on rowing technique, erg score, teamwork, and on the water performance in practices and races.

Program Goals: To produce a 4- or 4+ and a 2- to compete at the U23 Trials and hopefully earn a spot on the 2008 U.S. Under 23 Team.

Athlete Criteria: Selection will be based on a combination of erg score (minimum score for 2K: 6:10 and 6K: 19:45 or coaches discretion) and years rowing (minimum of 2).

Dates:

• Dad-Vail Rowers/Non-IRA Participants mandatory start date is May 19th (Mon), 6pm at Penn AC.
• IRA schools/participants mandatory start up date is June 11th (Wed) 6:00pm at Penn AC. The program ends after the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta.

Cost: $400, which must be paid in full by June 13, 2008 (Friday). Unless you have previously made separate arrangements with Coach Sanad. You can pay your fee via credit card, cash, or check. The fee includes a Club membership (which covers regatta entry fees/equipment/facilities use etc.) and racing jersey. Participants are financially responsible for their own room, board, and all out-of-town travel costs (Canadian Henley). ***REFUNDS*** are not offered once summer fees have been paid.
