Program Overview:

We will be building team boats for Under 23 Worlds to compete in both sweep and sculling events again during the summer. The 2-, 2x, and 4+ are open for trials and we will send boats to trials for as many of these events that we consider competitive.

Size of Program: There are a max. of 20 athletes who we will ask to participate in this program.

Program Goals: To produce competitive crews that go and compete for medals on the international stage.

Athlete Criteria: Selection will be based on a combination of erg score (minimum score for 2K: 6:10 and 6K: 19:45 or coaches discretion) and years rowing (minimum of 2).

Cost: Cost $550, which must be paid in full by June 11th (Friday). Unless you have previously made separate arrangements with Coach Holland and Coach Youngs. You can pay your fee via cash, or check. The fee includes a Club membership (which covers regatta entry fees/equipment/facilities use etc.) and racing jersey. Participants are financially responsible for their own room, board, and all out-of-town travel costs (Canadian Henley and U23 Worlds). ***REFUNDS*** are not offered once summer fees have been paid.

Passport: All participants must have a valid (through 9/12/10) U.S. passport. You will not be able to go to Canadian Henley or U23 Worlds without one.
